The Gala de Oro awards recognizes Latinx students, professionals, and small businesses that have made outstanding contributions to Sacramento State and/or their community through their accomplishments. We congratulate those who strive to advance, inspire, and motivate today’s leaders.

Outstanding Latinx Leadership Award

This category honors an individual within the Latinx community who has displayed exceptional leadership skills, inspiring and guiding others. It recognizes someone who has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentorship as they have achieved their goals. 

 

Latinx Community Champion Award

This category acknowledges an organization who has gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on the Latinx community or the broader community. It celebrates their dedication and service to the community at large.

 

Latinx Innovation Excellence Award

This category recognizes an individual within the Latinx community that has demonstrated exceptional innovation and creativity. It celebrates breakthroughs, novel ideas, and advancements that have contributed to the growth and success of your field or the Latinx community.
